The best-looking railway tycoon sim available, with an exceptionally slick UI and effortless track-laying, deep supply-and-demand economics, a large tech tree, and capable AI competitors. Drawbacks include being limited to regional map chunks rather than the whole US, no multiplayer, annoying voice lines, and an unrealistically fast pace. With little competition in the genre, it remains a worthwhile buy for fans.
