A return of plastic-instrument rhythm gaming whose muscle-memory appeal still works, but one that feels like the same game on new hardware with little fresh to offer. Without buying downloadable tracks the base setlist is thin and repetitive, roughly 10 percent solid songs to 90 percent filler. The headline freestyle solos are deemed fundamentally flawed and temperamental, clashing with the whole point of playing along to songs you love.
