A standout roguelike platformer that distinguishes itself with inherited descendants carrying randomized genetic traits and a generous permanent upgrade system, so each death never feels wasted. It is very difficult but rarely frustrating thanks to procedural levels, responsive controls, and a fantastic medieval soundtrack. With plenty of content and bosses at a generous price, it climbs near the top of the genre on Switch.
