A wait-for-sale. Visually one of the most stunning early next-gen titles, with near-uncanny-valley facial tech, gorgeous lighting and environments, excellent voice acting, and combat that's more varied and fun than its QTE reputation suggests. Held back chiefly by a lean five-to-seven-hour length, repetitive encounters, and occasional animation glitches that make it hard to justify full price.

Repetitive combat with pre-animated finishers and lazy level design make this a tedious modern warfare shooter in ancient Rome clothing.
