SaGa Frontier 2 Remastered

A good, distinctive turn-based RPG remaster whose dual-protagonist story, glimmer learning, life-point and duel systems, and watercolor backdrops are genuinely enjoyable once they click. The biggest drawback is that the game explains its many mechanics poorly, making the early hours bewildering for newcomers, and minor gripes include washed-out character sprites, getting stuck on background objects, and short, repetitive music loops. Fairly priced and worth playing, ideally with a walkthrough handy to ease the learning curve.
