Shattered: Tale of the Forgotten King

Our analysis

An artistically beautiful action-adventure buried under severe performance problems, low resolution, and frame rate drops that make it nearly unplayable on Switch.

Our analysis

A soulslike action-adventure with a world that's genuinely fun to traverse, offering satisfying platforming, air dashes, and an open map full of distant landmarks to explore. Combat falls short, hampered by poor hit detection, an inconsistent parry, buggy AI, and little weapon or spell variety, while a near-total lack of direction leaves goals unclear. Muddy textures, stuttering music, invisible geometry, and repeated crashes further undercut the experience.
