A masterfully designed martial arts game that demands perfection through repetition. The aging mechanic and level structure create meaningful progression, but camera issues and unfair combat moments frustrate an otherwise excellent experience.
Our analysis
One of the best indie games in years and a clear step up from Absolver. The Sekiro-inspired martial-arts combat, age-based death mechanic, and bob-and-weave avoiding feel exceptional, backed by outstanding sound design and a satisfying mastery loop. Weaknesses include inconsistent visual cues, a finicky camera in crowds, no difficulty options, and skills that add little. Highly recommended for those ready for the challenge.

Our analysis
New gold standard for beat-em-up genre with excellent combat.
Our analysis
Fluid melee combat with aging death penalty system, exceptional presentation with striking aesthetics; rewarding through mastery.
Our analysis
Exceptional combat mechanics and tight level design justify challenging difficulty.
Our analysis
Solid indie martial arts action with satisfying combat and good art style.
