A standout retro FPS that plays like a blend of Half-Life and BioShock, built around an inventive time-manipulation device used to age or restore objects, freeze and mutate enemies, and solve puzzles. The weapons and gunplay are excellent and the time-shift level design is atmospheric and tense; downsides are dated graphics, easy boss fights, AI that swings from good to laughably bad, and a short campaign that grows imbalanced once you become overpowered.
Yahtzee: borrows from BioShock and Half-Life but inferior to both. Time manipulation feels pointless. Predictable plot, repetitive gameplay.
