Skylanders: Trap Team

An amazing, exceptionally polished game held back only by its high price and toys-to-life cost. The visuals are lush and phenomenal, the sound, music and voice work are excellent, and the gameplay is open enough to reward replayability without feeling aimless, with the trap mechanic cleverly letting captured villains double as playable characters and quest keys. Drawbacks are floaty jumping, tedious nested menus, sharp difficulty spikes, and the need to buy multiple figure and trap sets to see everything, making full price hard to recommend.
