Snake Pass

A novel and delightful snake-slithering physics concept that is genuinely fun to mess around with, wrapped in a beautiful, colorful design with a pleasant David Wise soundtrack. Unfortunately the full game falls apart due to wonky all-or-nothing controls, unpredictable gripping physics, a punishing checkpoint system that wipes all progress, a troublesome camera, and pointless collectibles. Add a blurry sub-720p presentation and thin level variety, and it feels like a cool tech demo that should have stayed one.
