An impressive 4X space title for such a tiny team, with a fantastic, deeply customizable ship-building system, smart what-you-see-is-what-you-get planet management, excellent AI, voiced tutorials, and rewarding commendation and espionage subtleties. The clunky, tedious ground-combat module drags and multiplayer is absent, but the space-faring core is a worthwhile buy at its friendly price.
