It's dragged down by the tedious one-item-at-a-time maker system, lifeless townsfolk with sparse dialogue, a barebones museum, weak tourism features, and severe frame-rate drops while farming, so buyers are best off waiting for patches and a sale.

A deep, addictive farm-life entry that layers in skill leveling, a flexible maker crafting system, and tons to do across hundreds of potential hours. The premium price and rich content are undercut by poor performance, with a choppy, wildly fluctuating frame rate and stutters, plus the puzzling omission of character portraits.
