Our analysis
STRAFE looks like a 1996 shooter but does not play like one. The weapons feel powerless, small clips and a slow reload force cautious play, and the procedurally generated levels repeat rooms with no progression between runs. The fun wave mode cannot carry the poor core gunplay.
