A snazzy, polished early-access twist on Space Invaders where you shoot straight up at waves of inventively designed alien bugs from a fixed position. It runs smoothly, sounds excellent with a catchy techno soundtrack, and nails its core fast-twitch dodging and timing, with every weapon and character upgrade feeling genuinely impactful. The inability to jump or shoot horizontally occasionally makes things feel a touch flat, but the value is exceptional for the price.
