The Day Before

Our analysis

The Day Before suffers from broken conversations, an empty city, scarce loot, and punishing deaths that leave the player unable to fight back. The creator calls it terrible, urges viewers not to buy it, and plans a refund.

Our analysis

Marketed for years as an ambitious open-world survival MMO, it's really just a bare-bones, broken extraction shooter riddled with bugs, server problems, and missing basic features. The city can look beautiful, but the world is utterly empty of players and zombies, the shooting feels floaty and desynchronized, and the third-person design makes it a camper's dream. Slow, lifeless, and boring, it's not acceptable even at its $40 price.
