Excellent combat with discernible sense of weight and satisfying impact behind each attack. Active parry-based defense, weapon-specific skill trees, and multifaceted character progression elevate gameplay. Story is forgettable and doesnt earn its sentimental moments, side missions are repetitive, and level design is linear with little sense of discovery. Still a thrilling Souls-like that stands out in a crowded genre.
