Our analysis
A faithful, lovingly rebuilt remake of the classic arcade light-gun shooter that's still a satisfying blast to play, with charmingly awful voice acting and a fun new Horde mode. It's let down on Switch by finicky gyro aiming that twitches when you fire, no perfect control method, and frame-rate stutter on default settings that can be eased via performance mode. Enjoyment hinges on how much you're willing to tinker with sensitivity settings.

A disappointing and half-assed remake that fails to improve upon the original arcade shooter. Poor graphics, terrible controls with gyro calibration issues, and lack of meaningful content make it overpriced and not worth the $55 asking price.
