Our analysis

Strong expansion with new NYC map, engaging bosses, and improved Gear 2.0 system.

Our analysis

A solid but overpriced expansion that mainly shines by streamlining Division 2 — the revamped, level-based gear progression and stat-recalibration system make downtime far faster and the whole base game more enjoyable. The new New York map is atmospheric and fun with distinct warlord bosses, but content is short (around seven hours), loot is lighter than the base game, AI can be laughably bad, and bullet-sponge enemies appear on higher difficulty. Worth it for existing owners; newcomers should wait for a sale.
