6 of 6Switch 2 port hits 60fps but significant visual cutbacks. PS4 version still vastly superior.
Solid gameplay with beautiful environments but reuses assets heavily. Competent but doesnt advance franchise.
A mighty impressive remaster of the original trilogy, with every element remastered or remade: redrawn assets, a redesigned Lara model, real-time shadows, volumetric lighting and a consistent 60fps, plus instant load times and re-recorded dialogue. The classic level design, secrets and survival still hold up superbly, and you can toggle back to the original look. The main drawback is the controls, which remain clunky even with modern options, and brightness is slightly off when docked. Strong value for three games and their DLC.
Excellent nostalgic museum piece for original fans with all expansion packs included. Worth buying for those seeking that classic experience, but newcomers should expect frustrating controls and obtuse puzzle design.
Faithful remaster with improved graphics and new control scheme that respects the originals while modern controls have camera issues in tight spaces.
Excellent platforming, character development, and beautiful visuals; minor multiplayer complaints.
