Our analysis

An enjoyable eastern-inspired Metroidvania that mixes 2.5D action with isometric overworld and self-contained battle stages, plus a buildable town and the versatile chained phantom pillar weapon. Combat and traversal improve greatly once dash and double jump unlock, but it's held back by sparse health drops with a punishing save system, occasionally cheap-looking enemy animation, an unlikable protagonist, no map markers, and 30fps stuttering on Switch.
