A wonderfully fresh and surprising RPG that constantly subverts genre tropes, pairing sharp comedic writing with sudden dark turns and a unique bullet-hell combat system where every fight can be resolved through mercy rather than killing. Three branching routes encourage replays, and the genre-spanning soundtrack is a standout. The graphics are basic and uninspired with bland hallways, and its short run time may disappoint those who won't replay it, but it's a memorable, one-of-a-kind experience.
