Vendetta: Curse of Raven's Cry

Our analysis

A janky, deeply flawed pirate game that fails to come anywhere near the standard set by Assassin's Creed Black Flag. The protagonist looks decent and ship damage effects are genuinely cool, but the world and NPCs look last-gen, the frame rate sits in the low 20s, and the sound mixing is muddy and poorly recorded. Combat is dreadful with no hit feedback and floaty controls, while wildly unbalanced naval encounters and a tedious map-travel loop leave little that is actually fun, earning a hard recommendation to steer away at any price.
