Our analysis
A quality CRPG that is badly let down by its Switch 2 technical state. The patch adds Joy-Con mouse support, fixes a character-creation crash, and improves performance slightly, but it still runs on an uncapped, see-sawing frame rate with poor visual quality, and worse, the update broke the menus so difficulty and other settings can no longer be accessed. A meaningful step forward marred by newly introduced bugs.
Our analysis
A highly recommended CRPG for sci-fi and 40K fans, praised for outstanding worldbuilding and immersion, tactical turn-based combat, satisfying character progression, excellent companions, huge length, and up to six-player co-op. The downsides are an overwhelming flood of lore for newcomers, an enormous amount of reading, and borderline too much drawn-out combat that disrupts the flow. Great for tactical and 40K enthusiasts, less so for those wanting real-time combat or lighter reading.
