A substantial step up from its predecessor, with a striking post-apocalyptic Colorado setting and phenomenal voice acting. Its rich narrative, player-choice-driven gameplay, and reactive world make for an engrossing experience, even with some lingering technical issues.

A standout turn-based isometric tactical CRPG and one of the year's best, with a tightly-knit, deeply reactive Colorado setting where every faction and location is interconnected, plus meaningful freedom of choice and excellent, consistently surprising voice acting across all 50 hours. Skill points feel a bit over-generous, leaving most paths open, and the visuals are unremarkable. The big caveat is serious PC technical trouble at launch including poor performance, a memory leak, and quest-breaking bugs, so PC players should wait for the day-one patch.

An enjoyable turn-based tactical RPG with a strong Fallout-like vibe, a decent story, excellent voice acting, and satisfying combat backed by a smart shared-ammo inventory and deep skill specialization. The clunky isometric camera, rough optimization on lower-end systems, single-player bugs, and a completely broken co-op mode hold it back at full price. Still a slow-paced, chill, lengthy adventure that fans of the genre will love.

A deep, old-school RPG throwback that excels at freedom of choice, with rich character customization, branching dialogue, and consequential decisions that make playthroughs feel unique and highly replayable. The XCOM-style turn-based combat is competent but ends up dull and repetitive, performance suffers from long load times and frame drops, and inventory management is poorly implemented. Strongly recommended for fans of classic Fallout and similar RPGs.
