Barely a golf game at all, this is a wildly inventive comedy title built around a single simple control scheme that constantly subverts expectations with new gimmicks on every hole. Its enormous variety, addicting progression, and clever surprises make it consistently delightful, though it offers little challenge and the minimalist, derivative low-poly visuals rarely change. The two-player party mode is brilliant but limited in player count; overall it is bizarre, joyful madness that is hard to put down even for non-golf fans.
