A good action rogue-lite built around a deep spell-comboing system that makes constantly mixing and matching spells feel rewarding, demanding a thoughtful in-and-out combat approach. It shines brightest in local co-op and the surprisingly fun versus mode, but the experience is short and held back by bland, repetitious procedural level design that keeps a great combat system from reaching greatness.
