X-Men: Destiny

A flawed action beat-em-up that slowly wins you over despite a rough start. The custom power and X-gene upgrade system is unique and offers strong replayability, the boss battles against the likes of Magneto and a Sentinel are the highlight, and the X-Men lore is fun to explore. It is held back by being single-player only, forgettable original characters, and a short five-to-six hour runtime.
