Our analysis
An enjoyable Hades-style roguelite set in a fantastical Edo-period Japan, lifted by an interesting Monster Hunter-flavored weapon-crafting system, smooth 60fps combat, and three protagonists with distinct stories and movesets. It leans skill-based rather than pure RNG, and the bosses and Japanese art direction shine. Drawbacks include limited enemy variety, a somewhat linear run structure, an underwhelming parry payoff, overly long dialogue, and pricing slightly above its genre peers.
