Masterful adaptation capturing 1979 Alien tension. Incredible faithfulness to film aesthetic and sound.

The first Alien game in years worthy of a purchase, built around stealth, puzzles, and terror rather than guns. Phenomenal ambient sound and a dynamic, movie-sourced score create relentless dread, the bipedal alien's animation and AI are top-notch, and Survival mode is pure adrenaline. Weaknesses include terrible voice acting, weak-sounding weapons, a punishing save system, and heavy-handed fetch-quest backtracking that stretches the game out.
