Anno 1800: Pioneers Edition

Our analysis

A deep, immersive city builder set at the dawn of the Industrial Age, praised as one of the best ever in the genre and a true triple-A experience. Managing the layered economy, population needs, trade routes, and expansion to new-world islands is enormously fun and relaxing, with priorities nailed where it matters. Knocks include a weak, distracting campaign, tedious story quests, and sloppy lip-syncing, but none undermine the overwhelmingly positive verdict.
