Its greatest strengths are immersive exploration, superb regional voice acting, and grounded human-feeling enemies with no bullet sponges. It stumbles with stun-locking melee combat, weak perks, and frustrating tall-grass stealth, but the atmosphere and freedom make it a refreshing, worthwhile experience.
