Blood: Fresh Supply

This port of the classic 90s Build-engine shooter delivers a great, visceral core gameplay loop with satisfying no-frills combat, characterful enemies with readable personality, and standout sound design and death animations. As a product of its time it suffers from shareware pacing where the best levels are front-loaded, flying enemies that snag on ceilings, and brutally unfair hitscan cultists that fire instantly on sight and make up most of the difficulty.
