Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel

Essentially a polished but unambitious expansion that recycles its predecessor's graphics, sound, and structure with little improvement, padded by long stretches of running around doing very little. The moon's low-gravity verticality, new laser and freeze weapon types, and dramatically improved loot-sharing co-op add some welcome freshness, but the oxygen mechanic feels pointless and the humor falls flat. Solid to play yet not worth full price; better as a sale purchase.
