A loving celebration of survival horror that blends the best of Resident Evil, Silent Hill, Dead Space and more, elevated by a strong setting, intriguing time-travel mystery, and a compelling protagonist, with great sound and visual design. It rarely does anything truly original, and enemies that are too fast and relentless force unwanted combat that dulls the fear. On Switch 2 it runs at a solid 30fps but suffers a serious bug that hard-crashes when switching between handheld and docked mode.
Bloober Team's original sci-fi survival horror, blending Resident Evil and Dead Space, earns its place in the genre with tense, unforgiving combat anchored by a clever enemy merge system and a compelling time-travel, alternate-history setting. The protagonist's obscured face and cold delivery blunt emotional resonance, and a few harsh difficulty spikes frustrate, but a great synth-heavy soundtrack and strong world-building carry it. Tense rather than scary, but a confident, recommendable horror title.
A high-quality survival horror game with excellent atmosphere and authentic Polish setting that rivals Silent Hill Remake, though held back by lack of Polish voice acting and sometimes artificially scripted resource scarcity.
