Darksiders II: Deathinitive Edition

A solid open-world action-adventure with a clear, well-narrated story and improved RPG loot and exploration, with Death a strong lead and an excellent supporting cast. The visceral combat is satisfying but burdened by awkward control mappings and missing options like camera-speed tuning. The biggest drawback is the port itself, with severe performance and resolution drops in the open world that make other platforms preferable.
