A superior sequel that improves on the original in nearly every way, with a far better and more recognizable soundtrack and excellent new gameplay additions like held taps, freestyle sample zones, and track-specific effects. The new Empire mode feels immersive and the battle multiplayer is fun, though locking some songs to single modes, the absence of Daft Punk tracks, and the lack of custom characters are frustrating. Highly recommended for fans of the genre.
