A game built on a solid foundation but hard to fully recommend at its $100 price. The redesigned three-button guitar is a major, more natural improvement, and the well-paced difficulty and premium content shine. The FMV live-band presentation is deeply divisive, the on-disc song list is thin, and the streaming Guitar Hero TV model creates real worry about favorite songs vanishing day to day.
