Double Dragon Gaiden: Rise of the Dragons

A beat-em-up that smartly folds in roguelite elements, with end-of-stage random power-ups, a shared cash pool spent on upgrades or reviving teammates, and a tag-swap mechanic that adds real strategic depth and replayability. Choosing stage order, unlocking 13 distinct characters, chunky hits, and an excellent revamped soundtrack round out a strong package. The platforming sections feel unnecessary and there is no option to disable screen shake, but it lands as a very good, fairly priced entry.
