Double Dragon Neon

A fun, self-referential reboot that holds up well and refreshes the series by blending the classic Double Dragon experience with shops, stat upgrades and influences from Streets of Rage and Turtles in Time. Its deep cassette-based combat system is the real strength, alongside a great rock-flavored soundtrack with clever per-cassette tracks. Animation can feel clunky and stiff with some difficulty spikes, but it rewards players who stick with it.
