EA Sports UFC

The first UFC title on next-gen consoles is a disappointing mess. Despite not being 1080p it still suffers frame-rate drops, stiff and unconvincing hit animations, badly laggy menus, and weak, mismatched sound. Standup fighting is serviceable if wonky, but the constantly shifting control scheme across clinch and grappling feels random, and a tedious, disjointed career mode drags it down further. At best a rental for die-hard fans.

Solid improvements over UFC 3 with good career mode; incremental changes.
