A superb and faithful way to experience six foundational JRPGs, bundling the first six Final Fantasy games with respect for the originals plus crisp updated pixel graphics and Nobuo Uematsu's rearranged orchestral soundtrack. Generous quality-of-life additions like autosave, toggleable random encounters, and experience boosts make these the most accessible versions yet. The NES trio feels archaic and IV and VI shine as the standouts, and the lack of bonus dungeons from other versions stings, but it remains hard to beat for convenience and presentation.

Excellent remastered collection with significant visual improvements and modern features, though the price point of 65 pounds is steep.
