An exceptional co-op platformer with outstanding graphics, phenomenal sound design, and consistently innovative gameplay that never repeats itself. Perfect controls and imaginative level design deliver one of the most enjoyable gaming experiences.

Not terrible but not brilliant either. Six out of ten — just scrapes through. Could have been way better. The elephant scene is unnecessarily dark for a co-op game.
A vibrant, creative co-op platformer that is uniquely committed to two-player play, with rewarding and generous movement, wonderful boss fights, and a steady stream of fresh ideas that swaps in a new concept before any can grow stale. The audio and cinematic score are fantastic, and online, local Wi-Fi, and tabletop options all work well. Graphics show their age as a 2021 port and Nintendo's voice-chat solution is a weak point, but gameplay clearly triumphs over prettiness.
