Our analysis

A gorgeous hand-drawn Norse action-exploration title following the Viking warrior Thora as she battles toward the gods, this is a worthwhile, atmospheric experience carried by stunning art, excellent sound, and massive, memorable boss encounters. The sedate, exploratory levels and lack of combat make it feel almost like a 2.5D walking simulator, and revisiting sparse areas after dying grows repetitive. It outstays its welcome a touch, but the lore, ambiance, and giant boss fights make it well worth playing through.
