Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days

A terrible step backward that amounts to little more than repetitive cover-to-cover shooting through bland, identical Shanghai back alleys. The gimmicky digital-artifact visual filter wears thin fast, the four-hour campaign offers a weak story, poor enemy AI, and weapon balance issues, and it strips out the original's psychotic episodes and varied locations. It caps it all off with an insulting ending that undercuts its cinematic ambitions.

Gritty cover-shooter with strong cinematic aesthetic and voice acting, but repetitive missions and exhausting gameplay loop.
