Kingdom Come: Deliverance - Royal Edition

An impressive Switch port of an outstanding medieval RPG simulator, with a relatable protagonist, a deep and rewarding combat system, and rich simulation systems that reward patient training and exploration. A launch patch sharpened the previously blurry image quality, and while it holds 30 FPS more often than expected, frame rates and resolution drop notably in towns and busy events, making it the weakest version available. Squeezing the full game plus all DLC into roughly 14 GB with strong audio intact is remarkable, and it remains a great time for anyone who accepts the visual compromises.
