A hidden gem on Switch that blends Persona-like RPG storytelling with deep Mech customization and satisfying hack-and-slash combat. Strengths include clever skill-tree progression, motherboard-based ability slotting, crossplay online missions, a fantastic soundtrack, and a strong sense of scale and speed. Weaknesses are the lack of an English dub, an intrusive mobile-style battle pass, and some repetition in environments and mission layouts.
