  Our analysis

A radically different entry that trades the franchise's atmospheric horror for chaotic tag-team action, offering satisfying combat mechanics and an ambitious finale but buried under excessive padding, tedious systems, and poor camera design that make it hard to recommend despite its creative ambitions.
