Our analysis
A highly recommended, blast of a sequel that delivers fluid, gloriously violent combat across wave after wave of beautifully set-up carnage rooms. The crazy new weapons like the cryo gun are great, and it runs well, though a heavy reliance on trigger systems causes a handful of game-stopping bugs. The boring forced non-combat segments and tedious side quests drag, and it's essentially more maps for the first game, but it's excellent fun and a great price.
Our analysis
Expansion takes a slow first half but second half proves worth a few worthwhile setpieces. Far from the future of law enforcement but a solid follow-up.
