Dismissed as an utterly boring, repetitive loot shooter where every mission boils down to bouncing across identical rooftops, shooting the same purple enemies behind shields, and chasing meaningless upgrades. The cutscenes are full of cringey writing while the asking price is wildly inflated for such shallow, lifeless gameplay. Not worth a buy at any price.
Our analysis
A deeply disappointing effort that squanders Rock Steady's talent, with an entertaining first half giving way to a rushed live-service story and an uninspired gameplay loop. The cast, humor, and beautiful Metropolis are genuine strengths, but characters all play identically aside from their guns, and the mission design grows chaotic and frustrating. Best treated as a wait-for-sale title rather than a full-price purchase.
Our analysis
Angry Joe calls Rocksteady's live-service shooter mind-numbing, repetitive busywork. Only its high-quality cutscenes and brief flashes of what it could have been lift it at all, and he argues that superheroes and live-service games just don't mix.
Our analysis
A disappointing game with an identity crisis that never lives up to the promise of its title. The skill-based traversal and fast, chaotic combat are genuinely fun, and the gorgeous Metropolis, strong cast, and DC fan service shine, but the single enemy faction, repetitive payload and defend-point missions, and live-service grind drag it down. The killing-the-Justice-League payoff ends with a whimper, leaving it short and underwhelming despite some merit.
Our analysis
Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League has lively characters and a strong endgame loot chase, but repetitive missions, visual clutter, restrictive movement, and an underwhelming story keep it below Rocksteady's best.

WatchOur analysis
Rocksteady's direction shift from Arkham melee combat to a third-person shooter produces some genuinely funny character moments and excellent animations, but the experience is undermined by repetitive missions, messy visual clutter, poor Justice League characterization, and a combat loop that lacks depth.

WatchOur analysis
The game is a major disappointment that disrespects DC heroes and delivers repetitive gameplay with a poorly written story. While cooperative play with friends provides some fun, the boss fights are tedious, the open world is dead and uninspired, and Rocksteady has damaged its reputation with this failure.
