A must-have JRPG for series fans, delivering a sweeping, dozens-of-hours adventure with a memorable cast, intriguing Titan-based world, and deep, immersive combat layered with blades, elements, and arts. Strong voice acting and a frequently spectacular soundtrack elevate it further. It is held back by obtuse progression gates that demand specific blade abilities, some weak animation, and performance that is noticeably fuzzier undocked than on a TV.
A satisfying and fun JRPG with interesting characters and engaging systems; absolutely worth playing for JRPG fans despite some performance quirks.
